A great day was had by all at the Pakenham Upper Riding Club, at their Combined Training and Dressage Competition – many thanks for making us, Wendy Halma and Andrew Reay from GollyGosh Equine Australia – feel welcome at your Combined Training and Dressage Competition on 6 October 2019.

If you haven’t been to the Pakenham Upper Riding Club, you are missing out on one of the most scenic and pretty settings for a riding club anywhere in Australia – that is no exaggeration. The club is situated on the side of a hill overlooking the picturesque Toomuc Valley, has a jump arena, and two additional dressage arenas, plus a breathtakingly spectacular cross country course.

Not only a pretty view, but friendly, welcoming riding club members, who ran a fun day and a great combined training: excellent canteen, well attended presentations and typically outer Melbourne weather characterised by all seasons in the one day, if not four seasons in each and every hour. There are some things riding clubs cannot control and the weather is one of them!

We were delighted to donate 2 of our GollyGosh Equine Deluxe Massage Balls to “The Most Improved Rider” and “The Kindest Rider”.

“The Most Improved Rider Award” at the Pakenham Upper Riding Club’s combined Training and Dressage Competition and recipient of the GollyGosh Equine Deluxe Massage Ball today was Kirsten Krogh (pictured on the right), from Lysterfield Adult Riding Club, who was riding “Sunday Afternoon”. Congratulations Kirsten and “Sunday Afternoon” who is the real winner because lots of massage sessions are coming your way now.

“The Kindest Rider Award” at the Pakenham Upper Riding Club’s combined Training and Dressage Competition and recipient of the GollyGosh Equine Deluxe Massage Ball today was Sabina Bodeit (pictured left). Sabina rides with the Tonimbuk Riding Club, who was riding “Pearl”. Congratulations to Sabina and “Pearl”.

Pearl is an Off-The-Track-Thoroughbred who also did a stint as a Polo-pony. Wendy did some “one on one” training with Sabina on how to use the massage ball … Pearl just loved all the attention and her massages from Wendy and Sabina. Enjoy!

Wendy loved massaging so many of your horses throughout the day. This helped keep the horses happy and Wendy warm. Thanks for having the GollyGosh Equine Massage Ball Team at your event.

GollyGosh has been in the making for over 40 years. It began in 1975 when our passion for horses was discovered. That was the beginning of our love affair for the equine world. We’ve dressaged, jumped, shown and trail ridden ever since.
